Character vs Culture
- Culture is societal whereas character is individualistic.
- Culture is the ideas, customs, and social behaviour of a particular people or society; Character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual.
Culture
Culture is the result of a movement in a country. It is a system of building identity and a process to live in a community. Culture differs from group to group and is influenced by factors such as food habits, economy, faiths, religious beliefs, language, and more. Cultural growth can be estimated by community growth.
Character
Character is the mental and ethical traits that make a person. It is determined by our actions of doing the right thing. Bad character is characterized by bad actions, while good character is characterized by beneficial and good actions. Everyone in the world is endowed with character, regardless of race, religion, or culture. Character transcends education and gender.
Sometimes the word character is used to describe a quality, especially a good quality. For example, when someone says “He has character,” it means that person has good qualities. Character is associated with anything that is good.
