Loyalty and honesty are two virtues that everyone should cultivate in them. Although there is a strong relationship between these two values, there is also a distinct difference between loyalty and honesty. The key difference between loyalty and honesty is that loyalty is a strong feeling of allegiance or support to someone or something whereas honesty is the fairness and straightforwardness of conduct. However, there is a high tendency for these two qualities to overlap since a loyal person is often honest, and an honest person is often loyal.

Loyalty can also be noticed in pets. For example, dogs are very loyal to their masters.
A loyal person can be trusted because he or she would never betray the people/cause/group/country they are loyal to.

The quality of honesty connotes a variety of virtues such as sincerity, integrity, faithfulness, trustworthiness, and virtuousness. It also implies the absence of cheating, cheating, theft, etc.
Honesty is a greatly valued quality in many religions. However, there is also an opinion that excessive honesty is not favorable. If someone honestly expresses a negative opinion about someone else, he or she may be described as being too honest.
